Forbes Global Properties Czechia & Slovakia is built on the foundations of Dr.Real, s. r. o., a company active on the real estate market since 2003. In 2026 it is a great honour and a challenge for us to bring more than two decades of experience with residential investment projects, premium luxury properties and other segments of the Czech and Slovak real estate market into the international Forbes Global Properties network. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, we want to give our clients, as well as exceptional properties, the dignified space and representation that match their value and character.
The experience we build on
Dr.Real, s. r. o. has acted as a real estate consultant and partner in preparing investment projects in construction development, as well as in industrial, municipal and infrastructure construction and commercial real estate. Brokering the sale, purchase and rental of residential properties has also been a significant part of its work. In recent years, the company has turned its particular attention to the premium property market, including historic buildings and structures that are unique in their architecture, their setting or in other ways.

Can foreigners buy property in Slovakia?
Yes. EU citizens buy property in Slovakia under the same conditions as Slovak citizens. Certain restrictions apply to buyers from outside the EU and to agricultural or forest land - we assess each case individually and guide you through the whole process, including the legal documentation.
What does selling through a Forbes Global Properties member bring me?

How does a sale with FGP Slovakia work?
We start with a non-binding consultation and valuation. Then comes the presentation (photography, video, copy in Slovak and English), marketing to our clientele and the Forbes network, selection of vetted buyers, reservation and full legal service through to handover.
Do you also operate in the Czech Republic?
Yes. We hold the exclusive licence for the Forbes Global Properties brand in both Slovakia and the Czech Republic, with offices in Bratislava and Prague. Properties in both countries are presented to the same international clientele.
What is a reservation agreement and reservation deposit?
A reservation agreement blocks the property for the buyer for an agreed period while the purchase contract and financing are prepared. The reservation deposit is usually credited against the purchase price. We agree the amount and terms so that both parties are protected.
What taxes apply when selling a property?
Income from the sale of a property may be subject to income tax; exemption depends mainly on the period of ownership and how the property was acquired. We recommend discussing your specific situation with a tax adviser - we are happy to connect you and prepare the documents.
