Marko Nemcsics, BSc.

Marko came to real estate by way of diplomacy. He studied international politics at Aberystwyth University in Wales where the discipline was born, and later served as a diplomat at Slovakia’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and its embassy in London. Roles at the Slovak Antimonopoly Office and the European Court of Auditors honed his analytical approach.

He then brought a diplomat’s discretion and cultural fluency to business, and as an investment consultant, he sourced opportunities and vetted projects across Slovakia and Central Europe for private and corporate investors. Property was central to his clients’ ambitions, and through them Marko gained his first exposure to real estate. It quickly became his passion.

Marko brings an investor’s eye to real estate, weighing each asset’s potential and commercial context while insisting on rigorous due diligence. He is a licensed real estate broker (LRM) certified by NARKS, the National Association of Real Estate Agencies in Slovakia.

Since 2021 he has led the family-owned real estate firm Dr. Real, growing it across Slovakia and making it the exclusive Forbes Global Properties representative in the country. As CEO, he focuses on developing that representation, the quality of service and relationships with clients and partners. His aim is to unite local market knowledge with the network’s global reach — bringing Slovakia to the world, and the world to Slovakia.
